Well what a party we went to at the weekend for my cousin’s 10th year wedding anniversary. I had the privilege of doing the flowers and I had a happy couple of hours cutting the night before and then spent a manic morning arranging under my new gazebo while puppy sitting our 7 black labrador pups!
It was such fun creating huge arrangements using long branches and then adding the wow factor – the red hot pokers were stunning along with ginormous alliums, the last of the fox gloves and the first of the buddlia! So I created a big arrangement in a milk churn, a huge glass vase arrangement, a meadow style box and 2 wicker baskets with flowers in jam jars hidden by moss and finally 21 bud vases to go along the tables. Even if I say so myself the flowers complemented the stunning tent magnificently and we had a great time at the party!
