What a fabulous evening spent with three lovely ladies who braved the unpredictable weather to come and explore my flower garden.
The evening began with a wander through the flowers, where everyone picked a beautiful selection of blooms and foliage for their bouquets. We then headed indoors, and I showed them how to create a stunning hand-tied bouquet using the flowers they had chosen.
It was wonderful to see how each person developed their own unique style. Although they all started with flowers from the same garden, the finished bouquets were completely different and absolutely beautiful.
Once the bouquets were complete, I demonstrated how to professionally wrap them using coloured tissue paper selected to complement the flowers, before finishing them with brown kraft paper and raffia. The end results looked incredibly professional and made the perfect gift to take home.
Of course, no workshop would be complete without refreshments. We enjoyed homemade cupcakes and a chilled glass of white wine while admiring everyone’s creations and chatting about flowers.
