What a whirlwind—and what a triumph! As part of the Flowers from the Farm West Midlands region, we were thrilled to be invited to create a large floral installation at the heart of the RHS Malvern floral marquee. Our design team—myself, Jemima Willis (Little Flower Farm), and Kate Hurst (Camomile Cornflowers)—took on the theme “The Future of Floristry” with a bold, immersive display.
Suspended overhead was a dramatic hoop of twisted branches and dried flowers, setting the scene for two ground-level zones showcasing sustainable floral techniques. Visitors explored a stunning dried flowers installation, seasonal farewell flowers, urns, planted areas, huge floral pillars and even a pair of walking boots filled with herbs—all arranged with care and creativity.
The installation came to life thanks to 18 incredible volunteers, 15 buckets of locally grown blooms, 50 plants and 100 stunning peonies from Border Peonies. Thousands of visitors passed through, pausing to admire and engage with our work. On the final day, we sold the remaining blooms and raised £150 for the horticultural charity Perennial.
Five days to build, two hours to take down—and friendships, inspiration, and memories to last a lifetime. Roll on RHS Malvern 2026!
